libjs-pdf software package provides web standards-based platform for parsing and rendering PDFs, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-pdf
libjs-pdf is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-pdf package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-pdf *
You will get with libjs-pdf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
